Make a list of new, unusual, or interesting words or phrases found in your book.

 dared=have the courage to do something.

 speechless=When someone says that he or she is 'speechless', it means he/she cannot find words to express his/her feelings at that moment.

 sneaked=Convey (someone or something) in such a way: "someone sneaked a camera inside.

 foolhardy=A powerful desire for something.

 hazy=Not feeling or showing gratitude.

 stinky=Having a strong or unpleasant smell.


 imprisoning=Put or keep in prison or a place like a prison.


  swift=Happening quickly or promptly.


 wriggly= Twist and turn with quick writing movements.

 Thrilling=To cause to feel a sudden intense sensation.

 predicament= A situation.

 Bound= To progress by forward leaps of springs.

 Cowardly=  In a way that shows a lack of courage.

 Rogue= A dishonest.

 Lure=something that tempts or is used to tempts a person or animals to do something.


Crumbs=A small fragment of bread, cake, or cracker.

 Stick= A thin piece of wood that has fallen or been cut from a tree.

Smack= A fishing boat.

Goose=A large waterbird with a long neck.

 Deputy= A person whose immediate superior is a senior figure within an organization and who is empowered to act as a substitute for this superior.
